Qatar Airways has been announced as the World’s Best Airline 2011 in the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards, in a ceremony held at the French Air and Space Museum, as part of the 2011 Paris Air Show. The Award was received by Qatar Airways CEO, Mr Akbar Al Baker.
Voted by over 18.8 million airline passengers from 100 different nationalities over a 10 month period, voting on 200 airlines, the awards reflect customer satisfaction levels across 38 different items of airline front-line product and service. The title of World’s Best Airline at these awards are amongst the most coveted within the industry.
